Flower Fest

I was fooling around with the new stamp set from SU called Flower Fest.
I liked the picture of it on page 20 in the new summer "mini" catalog, and thought I'd try it out.  It requires our new embossing powder in Melon Mambo, chocks, the 2 3/8" scallop circle punch, 5 petal flower punch, butterfly punch, scallop border punch, stamp pad inks in the harmonizing colors, and versa mark.  I also punched out two little flowers from the boho blossoms punch, added ribbon, and tiny pearls.  My sentiment was from the Over All stamp set.
This is how my version turned out:

Patriotic

Following is a Patriotic Card..........after all this is May....Memorial Day month.
I used the "Inlaid" techniques.  The stars are all punched out of cardstock.  Attached to the white cardstock with a touch of liquid glue, then run through the Big Shot using the Lattice Embossing Folder.  I then wrapped metallic thread in red and silver, around the embossed cardstock in a random pattern.  Then applied to the red cardstock and then the navy base card.
Simple, but Impressive..............enjoy!

Stampin Up Owl Punch Tulip

(This is my rendition)
While surfing through many sites, I found this wonderful "Owl Punch Tulip".
It's fairly simple to do..........just using the owl punch and oval punches.
It's dressed up a bit using the Frame Tulip Embossing Folder and the Big shot.
Didn't have my camera handy so put it in the scanner.  Picture not as nice as I
would like, but I wanted you to see this.  Makes a beautiful Spring Time card.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
