FALL IS IN THE AIR

Today is the first day of November.  I think Fall is my very favorite season of the year.  I love the warm fall colors.  It also tells me the the Holiday Season is coming.

Love Thanksgiving!  Although I think it's fast becoming a forgotten Holiday.  Sad.  But, for those of us that love celebrating it, we are lucky to be in this wonderful hobby of card making.....so many lovely fall cards.

Following are some I think you'll enjoy.  Some I cased, but some I made.........

The above card was made using a "sketch template" for insentive.

Using Tangerine Tango, and Whisper White card stock.  Run the W.w. card stock through the Honeycomg Embossing Folder.  Secure to Tangerine Tango base card. Using the the new small butterfly punch, punch out four butterflies.  Allow enough space to be able to punch out around each of the butterflies with the Square Scallop Punch. Place them on the w white card stock using Stampin Dimentionals....sort of on angles to each other.

Wrap Tangerine Tango ribbon around upper portion.  Tie knot in center.

Put the New Large Pearls in the center of each butterfly.

Apply to the Whisper White Card Stock.

 



Bookmark Card

 

BOOKMARK  CARD

 

This  card was demoed by Carolyn W., at a gathering of friends this past winter.

I used different stamps, and backgroud, but otherwise very similiar.

The bookmark part of the card, has been perferated, so it can easily be removed from the card,without ruining the card.

Love this, hope you do too.....

 

To make one of these you will need an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of card stock.  Measure in along the 8 1/2 (along the top) and cut at 5 1/2 to form the card base.  This will give you a cut piece that is 5 1/2 x 11.

Now place the 11" at the top of your score board and score at 4 1/4, and 8 1/2.  Now you will pierce down the 8 1/2" scored line which will form the 2: bookmark portion.  You can place a ruler and pierce or use the SU piercing pack for accurate measurements.

Now simply decorate......
